Dcat Industries LLC ("ChatDada," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit chatdada.com or any site or app that links to it (the "Service").

Note for U.S. state residents: Where state privacy laws (e.g., California CPRA, Colorado CPA, Virginia VCDPA, Texas TDPSA) give you additional rights or impose additional duties on us, the relevant sections below apply to you.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (government IDs, health data, etc.). If you voluntarily share such information in a chat, you may delete that conversation at any time (see § 7 Your Choices).

2. How We Use Your Information

  1. Provide the Service. Create and manage your account, display chat history, process payments, and operate core features.
  2. Improve and secure the Service. Monitor performance, fix bugs, run analytics, and protect against fraud or abuse.
  3. Communicate with you. Send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, confirmations) and, with your consent where required, marketing messages.
  4. Advertise. Show ads or retargeted content (we do not sell your personal information for money; see § 6 Sharing & "Sale/Share").
  5. Comply with law. Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies – for login and session security.
  • Analytics cookies – to understand traffic and improve performance (Google Analytics).
  • Advertising pixels – to deliver and measure ads.

A cookie banner and fine-grained consent tool will be introduced soon; until then you may block cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may break core functionality (e.g., staying signed in).

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK visitors)

Although we do not actively target the EEA/UK, visitors from those regions may land on our site. Where GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Performance of a contract – to provide the Service you request.
  • Legitimate interests – security, analytics, and limited direct marketing (balanced against your rights).
  • Consent – for optional marketing emails and advertising cookies.
  • Legal obligation – for tax, accounting, and compliance duties.

5. Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active plus two (2) years, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law (e.g., seven‑year tax records).

"Sale" or "Share" under U.S. state laws: We do not sell personal information for money. We may "share" (as defined in CPRA) identifiers and device data with ad partners for cross‑context behavioral advertising; you can opt out as described in § 7 Your Choices.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access, correction, deletion. Email support@chatdada.com from the address linked to your account. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
  • Opt out of marketing emails. Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing message or adjust preferences in your account settings.
  • Opt out of targeted ads. Use industry tools (e.g., NAI opt‑out) or browser settings; a universal opt‑out link will be added when required by Texas TDPSA (effective Jan 1 2025).
  • Cookie controls. Use your browser or our upcoming banner to reject analytics/advertising cookies.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and Texas have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, opt‑out of sale/share, automated decision‑making, and appeal). We honor those rights as required by each state's statute.

8. Security

We protect personal information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including:

  • HTTPS encryption in transit
  • Role‑based access and MFA for admin accounts
  • Regular software patching and backups

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

ChatDada is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, email support@chatdada.com and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers and service providers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to, and processed in, the U.S., which may have data‑protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via a site banner and take effect on the date posted. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
